'Witches and Workshops' will be a fun-packed Halloween party on Saturday 26 October from 11am to 3pm.

Look out for family-friendly art activities, apple pressing in the coven's courtyard, face painting, cookies and mulled apple juice, plus spooky music and a fancy dress competition. Families can get creative at the gallery's workshops to create an apple monster and carve a pumpkin. 

Visitors will be able to discover more about witches in the gallery’s current exhibition Anne Jackson: The Witchcraft Series exploring the history of witch trials and the power of the witch.

Take part in a fun, collaborative drawing activity as part of the national Big Draw Festival, which runs from 1-31 October.
