Creative Cabin

Welcome to our Creative Cabin – art and nature on tour..

Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG) goes out and about into our communities with our travelling creative space - the Creative Cabin. This is a fun and creative space to explore art and nature in your neighbourhood. The Cabin hosts a broad range of activities, projects, talks, films, performances and workshops which creatively explore our relationship to nature and the climate emergency.

The Creative Cabin - a space to create, explore, learn and discover!

Cabin Out + About

CREATIVE CABIN SHORTS - while our Creative Cabin was grounded during lockdown, we brought you an inspiring digital programme of short films. Working with SW artists, rangers and practitioners, CREATIVE CABIN SHORTS connected to nature and the landscapes around us.

The Creative Cabin is now back on the road with exciting talks and art activities for this summer and we are also out visiting schools. For events near you, visit our What's On section and follow #ourcreativecabin on social media.

The Creative Cabin was awarded 'HIGHLY COMMENDED' in the national 2021 Museum + Heritage Awards in the Pandemic Pivot category.

Exploring the themes of nature and art, the Creative Cabin has been made possible by ARTIST ROOMS with the support of Art Fund, Arts Council England and Heritage Lottery Community Fund and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
