A new sculpture is now a central feature in front of the new Tithebarn Local Centre.

The Local Centre is a focal point for the community on the new mixed-use development close to Exeter Science Park. The sculpture named ‘Chaetonotus’ (pronounced ‘key-toe-no-tus’), was created by East Devon artist, Martin Staniforth aka Morth.  Its curvy form has been designed to echo the shapes of tiny creatures living in nearby ponds. 

The sculpture was funded by Exeter-based, Eagle One Limited, developer of the new Local Centre, and was selected with the help of Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG).

The Tithebarn local centre forms part of a broader development which will include over 1,600 dwellings, once completed. It is located at Tithebarn Way, Exeter, EX5 2FN.
