Submissions are now invited for Present Makers 2024, a leading exhibition in the UK’s craft calendar.
THG is looking for South West designer makers who produce high quality work (either one - offs or small scale production) to feature in our festive selling exhibition of contemporary craft and design.
Present Makers 2024 (16 November - 24 December) features hand-crafted gift ideas showcasing the talent and innovation of contemporary craftspeople and design makers in the South West.
- This year, we are shining a spotlight on emerging makers.
- As well as established makers, we encourage applications from recently graduated makers and emerging makers, from woodworkers to jewellery artists, ceramicists to glassmakers, textile artists to embroidery artists.
- We will support early career makers during the process of developing their expertise and help advance their practice.
- THG will provide a carefully curated space to showcase their creative process. We hope to achieve a wider appreciation of craftmanship and to promote and support our local creative communities.
Entries will highlight the quality, variety and inspiration of local designer makers working across a range of materials: glass, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints and wood, as well as unique Christmas cards and decorations.
