to

The Thelma Hulbert Gallery Open celebrates the rich and varied talent of artists living in the South West. It is a perfect opportunity to view and purchase work by both established and emerging artists from the region, as well as an opportunity to vote for your favourite work to win our popular Visitor’s Choice prize.

Chosen from public suggestions and to mark the exhibition coinciding with the Olympics and Paralympics coming to the UK, the theme of this years Open is Equality and Endeavour.

The winner of the THG Open 2012: Equality & Endeavour is Jane Perkins with her mixed media ‘Portrait of Usain Bolt.’ The runner’s up are Stephen Neil’s ‘Broken Home’ and Linda Bristow’s ‘Forest Flowers.’

THG hold an Open exhibition every other year. The next will be held in 2014. Please contact the gallery nearer the time if you would like details of how to apply. Join the THG Friends to receive discount on your Open entry fee and keep updated on future exhibitions.
