Painting The Everyday

to

Celebrating the centenary of the birth of Thelma Hulbert (1913-1995) this exhibtion focuses on Thelma Hulbert’s still life paintings.

These still lifes have been selected from across the UK, with many of the paintings rarely exhibited before. This will be a unique opportunity to see some different examples of Thelma’s work exhibited in her former home and studio here at Elmfield House.

This insightful collection of paintings will be complimented by the still lifes of two leading contemporary painters from the South West; Jessica Cooper and Vanessa Bowman, their contrasting yet comlimentary works reveal the continued fascination with capturing the everyday.
