Honiton Camera Club 60th Anniversary exhibition

to

2025 marks the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of Honiton Camera Club in September 1965.

To celebrate this significant milestone in the Club’s history, THG is hosting an exhibition of members’ photographs in the Upper Gallery. All members have submitted a print of their choice, showing the variety of styles and genres within the club and even include a print from a founding member of the Club.

Also on display are scrapbooks containing a record of notable events in the Club’s history over the years.

The exhibition provides a unique platform for many members who have not exhibited publicly before. All prints are for sale.

Originally known as the ‘Black and White Photography Club’, the Honiton Camera Club was based at the Baptist Church, then at several other Honiton venues before its current meeting venue at Honiton Methodist Church. The Club belongs to the Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF), which is one of fifteen Federations affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and ultimately to the FIAP – “Fédération International de l’Art Photographique”.
