THG is interested to hear from artists who would like to donate a piece of work to be placed on display at THG, Honiton: 10 February – 2 March 2018.

On Friday 2 March 2018, all donated artworks will be professionally auctioned by Exeter auctioneers Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood to raise funds for an exceptional local charitable cause: Honiton’s Admiral Nurse campaign, with some funds going to THG’s Learning programme supporting those with dementia and mental health issues.

Admiral Nurse campaign : Honiton’s Dementia Action Alliance has identified a real need for expert care and support at home for people living with dementia. They are working towards raising a target of £150K to fund their own Admiral Nurse for three years in the first instance. Admiral Nurses are highly skilled registered nurses who provide specialist and compassionate support for people with dementia and their families. Their unique background and experience enables them to work together with families and complimentary to local health and social care services.  When things get challenging or difficult, Admiral Nurses work alongside people with dementia and their families: giving them the one-to-one support, expert guidance and the practical solutions they need, and that can be hard to find elsewhere.

Artists wishing to be a part in this initiative are asked to respond asap by email : info@thelmahulbert.com with the information on the donations form or post the form to THG.
