A project to celebrate 25 years of the East Devon Way

THG has partnered with East Devon AONB to help people of all ages to engage with the landscape in new and creative ways.

Join us this summer for lots of nature-based art opportunities, creative activities and workshops along the East Devon Way and at THG. There will be an exhibition showcasing the work created throughout East Devon from 8 Sept – 27 Oct at THG and a celebratory community party on Sat 27 October.

Activity flier - to book onto activities or for further information, please contact Emma or Anna at THG: info@thelmahulbert.com / 01404 45006

There will be an exhibition to showcase the project which is taking place across East Devon with community groups, primary and secondary schools and with a range of free and subsidised workshops for families and adults.

This project partners with various organisations (such as the RSPB, Forestry Commission England, Clinton Devon Estates, EDDC, LED Walking for Health) and festivals such as Heath Week, Sidmouth Walking Festival, Devon Open Studios, Dorset Art Weeks, The Big Draw and Museums At Night.

THG will be working with a range of artists and artforms and the exhibition will be an opportunity to find out more about the East Devon Way through the creative nature-based activities that we have spent from May – October delivering.

The project has been funded by Defra, Arts Council England, The Northbrook Community Trust, The Elmgrant Trust, Tesco Bags for Help, Devon County Council, EDDC, THG and East Devon AONB.

To find out more, join us at the East Devon AONB Heritage Conference on Saturday 21 April at the Norman Lockyer Observatory, Sidmouth. Volkhardt Mueller will speaking about this project in his speech ' Inside the picture - Landscape art between observation and intervention'.
