Ingrid Pollard in Devon
6 August 2022 to 29 October 2022
Exhibition of new work by 2022 Turner Prize nominated artist Ingrid Pollard, a leading artist and photographer working in Britain today.
Pollard's contributions to art over the past 40 years have broken new ground and forged pathways for younger generations, shaping Britain's understanding and histories of art, society and culture.
This solo exhibition sees Pollard create a new series of work in response to the histories of Devon and the South West. Through her photographic research and practice into nature, Pollard explores narratives of people and places across industry, labour and individual experiences, which has shaped our stories and landscapes.
This exhibition is curated by talking on corners and THG. It is part of a wider project that focuses on the work of Ingrid Pollard. Project collaborators include Devon and Exeter Institution, Libraries Unlimited, The University of Exeter, Natural England, South Devon College and the University of Plymouth.
Look out for our programme of coordinating events, talks and workshops.
