Esmé Lloyd: Black Sky City (THG Project Space)

to

In ‘Black Sky City’, emerging artist and photographer Esmé Lloyd presents a dramatized storyboard of photographs illustrating her song of the same name.

Through a series of highly complex imagery, we follow a transient musician on his night journey in 60’s America. Intentionally clichéd, the stylised scenes enjoy a gravitas that belies their playful graphic representation. This collection of cinematic scenes is supported by production stills that give an insight into their creative development.

This exhibition is upstairs in the THG Project Space.
