South West Academy Winter Exhibition

An exhibition of work by members of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts

Artists of the South West Academy, including established names such as Prof. Alan Cotton, FRSA together with new Academicians including Martin Proctor and Laurel Keeley bring together a new body of work focusing on paintings, photographs, prints and ceramics.

The South West Academy is a registered charity dedicated to advancing the creation and appreciation of art in the South West region. Its core membership, the academicians are outstanding practitioners of fine and applied arts with varied practices, backgrounds and styles.

All of the work in the exhibition together with the South West Academy’s hardback publication ‘ Art, People and Place’ will be available to purchase throughout the exhibition. THG is part of the Own Art Scheme -buy your favourite artwork and pay for it in interest-free instalments.

Coordinating events :

26 January, 1.30-4.30pm – Portrait Drawing Demonstration with SWAc Associate Ken Cosgrove. £3 (£2 THG Friends) incl. cup of tea/coffee.

8 February, 6-8pm – Guided Exhibition Tour by SWAc Academician Ray Balkwill. £3 (£2 THG Friends) incl. glass of wine
